Van Gogh Travelling Exhibit, 2011

Last year at the Hosmer Elementary School Students learned about the life and work of the famous artist Vincent Van Gogh. For two weeks, while the Teacher's Discovery exhibit was on display, students at every grade level learn about Van Gogh's iconic textural painting style exhibiting a strong use of line, color and texture. Students then created thier own art works replicating his style.

Picasso comes to Hosmer!

As part of our famous five Series, The Hosmer Elementary School had a Teacher's Discovery exhibit come on the Famous artist Pablo Picasso. for two weeks. The entire school studied the life and artwork of Picasso and his different styles.
